Bitches get stuff done.

Today is blog for women’s health day, but I got home too tired from trying to take care of uninsured women all day to blog much. Then I read the “Angry Black Bitch’s” post, and I got a second wind. OMG, we have got to get some angry bitches of all colors posting about the sorry state of women’s health care! All day long, I try to find someone to do an STD exam for underage women and even rape victims, domestic violence survivors ---and no we can’t, because women are not a priority for the state of Georgia. Because women won’t get mad about it. We're not bitches. As Tina Fey said (re: Hillary's a "bitch"). " Let me say something about that. She is a bitch. And so am I. Bitches get stuff done. That's why Catholic Schools use nuns instead of priests... At the end of the year you hated those bitches, but you knew the capital of Vermont." We must go blogging, Georgia Bitches!

I thought I’d said enough, and then OMG, I saw Phil Gingrey’s name in my inbox. I wrote him yesterday re: women’s access to healthcare and today he sanctimoniously writes “I was an obstetrician/gynecologist for almost 30 years . . .From my perspective, the federal government should work to overcome the factors that lead to abortions, (Hello “Doctor” Gingrey, here’s a tip, preventing unplanned pregnancies prevents abortion. So why don’t you support women’s access to contraceptives?). As your Congressman, (you aren’t MY Congressman) I will champion compassionate alternatives to abortion, such as . . . promoting abstinence education, (OMG, has this man even heard of Evidence Based Medicine?) and passing laws requiring parental notification” (even though we know that leads to More abortions and later abortions) . . . I couldn’t read anymore, I had to hit delete and then go empty my trash. Next time I write Mr. Gingrey, please don’t respond. I'm too busy being a bitch.
